Serious eye roll at all of you. It’s a hospital, not a freaking four star luxury hotel - especially during covid. For many of us, we were hoping our child was Ok and thrilled when the baby and I could leave a week later. I was thankful the nursing staff was focused on helping us heal and not making sure you had a cozy dinner for two and luxury linens. Your priorities are seriously screwed up.
Get off your high horse. I'm the sibley PP and my first was premature and in the NICU. I can still appreciated a private clean nice room and having edible meals for me and DH. Second baby didn't have any med issues and it was really nice to have the big room for the 3 of us, esp during covid when we didn't leave the room at all for 4 days. OP isn't saying this is all she cares about.
There is a big difference between wanting a private clean room with edible food and wanting luxury amenities, gifts, etc. like the OP is looking for.
