Because I think it’s ridiculous. All kids are now vaccinated. All parents are boostered. Omicron is contagious, but milder (described like a mild cold). When does it end?!?!?

I know you're a troll, but just in case: Covid-19 hospitalizations in DC have exceeded the highest peak of the pandemic. DC EMS services have lots of staff out and have a hard time responding in a timely manner to all calls. If you're in a car accident or need the ER for any reason, not just Covid, you will not receive the quality of care that you expect. Maryland hospitals have requested lawsuit protection from the Governor because they will shortly operate under what they called " catastrophic" conditions.

A "milder" Omicron that is 10 times more transmissible than Delta actually means severe impact on communities, because our society doesn't have a lot of margin to staff all its essential services.[/quote]
