It sounds like he had a privileged but troubled upbringing. I was looking into New Mexico Military Institute and noticed Luke Wilson was listed as an alum. So I looked into that and saw he went to St Mark's in Dallas, which is the St Albans of Dallas. It looks like he got into trouble at St Mark's and was then sent to NMMI, which is a well heeled private military school. So maybe he's just always been troubled and it has nothing to do with his mom having a job?
Sigh. Obviously not every working mom has a negative impact on her kid. But sometimes kids with absent parents do suffer and act out. Bouncing around multiple schools followed by an inability to commit to a relationship point to something, no? Why do you think so many kids of celebrities are screwed up? Absent parents. To be clear: your average Dcumlandia 9-5 isn’t the same as super-driven/super-successful career women. And, artists are notorious for having other issues (anxiety, mania, addiction, etc.). Lastly, any marriage can go off the rails and prompt fighting. If kids see that, they shy away from marriage (particularly boys when the mom is the one who brings drama).
