Once he has crossed that line, he can no longer control the game so he has rendered himself entirely ineffective at the job he is there to do. It doesn't matter in the slightest if he is 100% correct in his assertion, his action is 100% counterproductive. This akin to a man with an ugly wife telling her she is ugly. Is he correct?
