What I meant was that they were already engaged when I met him. I didn’t know obviously, but I found out when I googled him and there was the story on their wedding announcement of when they were dating/engaged and married.
He clearly wanted to marry a woman closer to his age and of his same religion… even though she was objectively ugly. He was just having fun with me… unfortunately [/quote]
