Same! In my case the deer ran into the side of the car and when it went across the hood it broke the windshield. Terrified me because I was driving only about 30 on a residential road and never saw it until it hit the windshield.[/quote]

I was once driving in a caravan of friends through a mountain range.  A big buck with several antlers came off the mountain and tried to leap across the road and leaped onto the hood of my friends pick up truck.  Would not have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes.  We were the second car.  That deer ran into the truck.  We were all grateful that our friends with cars weren't hit. They would not have survived.  That deer did damage.  [/quote]
