If you attend a wedding, do you get a return gift or not? If adults expect to be rewarded,  I think we can excuse little kids for expecting a party favor. We do this for what, 5 years in ES? [/quote]

I have to ask - what's a "return gift" for attending a wedding?  I think I may have gotten a small favor at weddings occasionally but usually I just give the couple a gift and that's it.[/quote]
