Is Rollins in Florida too small? If not, ekherdt and new college are even smaller. University of Hawaii manoa? Maybe some of the cal state or uc schools? College of Charleston? UNC Wilmington?
Thank you! I never heard of Rollins before. It looks maybe too small, and way too wealthy! but at least I can mention it to her and she will know I am taking her desire for warm weather seriously. College of Charleston is already on her radar, but it is very not diverse....
Other Florida schools to look into: Stetson U Nova Southeastern U U of Tampa
My daughter considered Stetson. DeLand is a cute little town. But it’s a little rural if the OP’s daughter wants a city. OP - University of North Florida in Jacksonville fits your criteria. It’s such a beautiful school. My daughter had a lazy river at her dorm. Lots of sunshine!
Stetson is a bit mid-Florida rural but Deland is lovely and the campus is so nice. It's only half an hour or less to Daytona, New Smyrna and other beaches. It's also about 30-40 minutes from Orlando. Also, Stetson aw school campus is in Tampa.
