It really sucks for your child to have to be with parents who cannot be bothered with them.[/quote] Not the PP, but I think the larger concern is the amount of school missed by said child being home for a week due to being a "close contact" with another child who tested positive while not actually testing positive themselves. Then there are those children who DO subsequently test positive. It's a mess; one that this approval will hopefully stave off eventually.[/quote] Without quarantine if a child is exposed and positive and asymptomatic we could very easily have outbreaks. The issue is schools should provide virtual to kids who are quarantined. But, that's a separate issue.[/quote]
