She didn't claim there was "no racism."  She said it wasn't as prevalent as some are making it out to be. 
I agree with her........ there has been an effort to paint the US as a racist country.  That is BS.  There are racist individuals, but as a whole, this country does a damn good job at acknowledging diversity and providing opportunity to people of ALL colors.  
We need to focus much less on race and more on providing educational opportunities and economic opportunities to low income people because they, too, come in ALL colors.  [/quote]
This country has done a terrible job acknowledging racism/white supremacy.  The dominant race has a habit of pretending it isn’t there when they know it is.  It exists in all areas of activity.  It’s important and this is something that has gone on far too long.  We have to acknowledge it and talk about it.[/quote]
