But when political operatives spin up "issues" and twist and turn the truth along the way it becomes political. They are politicizing issues - wedge issues - to build up "rage" to try to sway votes. Even though the politicians wouldn't actually solve any of these "issues". It's manipulation that detracts from the actual issues and ultimately hurts kids. [/quote]
