7% of hospital beds are currently occupied by patients who have covid. Same as on August 22, 2021; May 5, 2021; and October 31, 2020.

Exactly.  Montgomery County is not, and has never been, Texas, Florida, or Alabama.  Our policies should reflect location conditions.

Also, for the PP that said there were 360,000 cases a year in Moco needs some remedial math.  If there are 100/day x 365 = 36,500 cases all year.   The Moco dashboard says 81,338 total cases and 1643 deaths (since March 2020).  https://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/covid19/data/[/quote]
