I just keep the door to the bathroom closed and empty the trash when necessary.[/quote] I have Simple Human trash cans with a lid and my dog is just not that determined to mess with things to try to open it. Dog is a puppy and messes with things out in the open so trash without a lid would maybe be a problem, but lacks that determination (intelligence? ha) to try and open a can to fish something out.
