Assortative mating is alive and well as you can see by the answers of many men in this thread. Highly educated and compensated men are not marrying baristas, they're marrying their colleagues and coworkers even if those women end up leaving the workforce at some point. It's not about money per se, but there is definitely an educational and class element at play.[/quote]
