Looking for a big (ish) gift for a 3.5yo girl. Her older brother is getting a new bike, so want to give her something she’ll be excited about too. She has a great dollhouse and loves calico critter stuff for it. She likes music and stories… I was thinking about a keyboard but not sure if she’s too young? I feel like I always overshoot the age appropriateness just a bit (like- got her a toniebox for her bday; she’s just now really getting into using it on a regular basis. Or the dollhouse- she didn’t play with it much at first but now loves it) Maybe playmobile set? Any recommendations of a good one? We try to do fewer, bigger presents on our side because grandparents go crazy with stuff in the $10-$30 range.
My kid was closer to 4 last Christmas, and the big hits were 2 stuffed animals that she got and a welliewisher doll with a couple of outfits and books that grandma gave her (she has never been into baby dolls, but if yours is then the bitty baby would also be a good option at this age). My dd also loves playmobil, and there's pretty much a theme for every interest, so it depends on what your kid is into (mine likes scooby doo, princesses, forest fairies, regular city type stuff, animal sets. there are a lot of choices).
