Wasn't Baltimore Armour an MLS Youth Academy construct that took the best players from Olney, SAC, and maybe Celtic? Or did the organization exist pre-academy?
On the boys side, they have existed since 2015, in the DA. Essentially took Baltimore Bays DA spot. SAC, Pipeline, Pro Soccer Academy, and Baltimore Bays were the original 4 clubs that started it. That whittled down to just SAC and Pipeline, then just SAC when Pipeline went to ECNL. They wanted Celtic but never managed to get them, as at the time Celtic had some good boys teams. https://www.soccerwire.com/news/sw-qa-john-ellinger-explains-the-creation-of-baltimores-new-development-academy-superclub/ They were then a founding club of MLSNext, but just them (SAC), no other partner teams.
