Good communication is the key to a good contracting relationship. Too many contractors are not taking into account the voice of the homeowner and installing what they have on hand or want to install. This guy needs to listen to his customer, not just install what he wants — be it a tryst in a Target parking lot, a longterm affair, or other — when it’s unclear if that’s what the customer wants and needs.[/quote]

I think we all agree that construction is a series of compromises, if the customer is willing to be pleased there are no lengths to which your contractor should  not go to please you. Sometimes all it takes is a two hour and one minute long phone call to get lots of stuff cleared up. [/quote]
