Seriously?  I am a relative newcomer to this thread and could care less one way or the other about STA.  But I do know that STA is an elite and expensive school, so of course it attracts some arrogant and elitist families, and at the same time, it arouses a certain degree of jealousy and snark from people outside the school community, who deal with their own issues by calling out the arrogance.  The same could be said about all the private schools in the DMV, and those type of interpersonal dynamics are as old as the institution of private education itself.  And of course an anonymous thread on DCUM allows the negative emotions on both side (arrogance and jealousy) to be on display.  But what exactly is the "problem" that you seem concerned about?[/quote]
