You can’t possible be this out of touch where DINKs live and work in the same area as the majority of couples. This used to be a comment that got slammed as a millennial type comment, but those folks are grown up now. Believe it or not, there are neighborhoods that are car dependent but isn’t in the “country.” [/quote]
I’m 45. You do realize the VAST majority of Americans live in cities, right? People have been flocking to urban centers for a while now, excepting this pandemic blip. Driving all over is an awful way to live. I ought to know, I grew up in fairfax. So, yeah, most of “the country” as you say could be car free. [/quote]

It was such a bizarre rant. Even for people who can do most things carless, there are still some things that take a car. Like visiting family and friends outside of the major urban center where apparently most of us live and don't use a car to get around no not even when we need to go grocery shopping or schlep out to Ikea.[/quote]
