Really?  Because on the day he was pardoned in order to avoid prosecution, the NY Times front page was this:"Ford gives pardon to Nixon, who regrets 'My Mistakes'".  Somehow he failed to mention the EPA.

So I would have to say that his biggest regret was getting caught in watergate, having his people go to jail and being forced to resign in disgrace.

You modern Republicans wish you could rewrite the history of your party but we won't let you. Nixon defended the environment, Reagan protected illegal immigrants, and once upon a time republicanism and foreign wars were not synonyms. [/quote]
