So you literally know no teens who weren't trouble makers? I never smoked, drank or touched a drug because I didn't want to.
Good for you goody two shoes. A lot of teens like to experiment, push the envelope, develop independence and test boundaries. Guess you skipped that developmental stage.
Ok well you don't need to be sparky about it. And yes, maybe I skipped the rebellious teen stage. I personally think that's a good thing. Today I am a well adjusted fully functioning adult who enjoyed my childhood.
DP but the issue here is that OP thinks her daughter skipped the rebellious teen stage, and she's clearly in the middle of it. Kids who don't smoke, drink, or touch drugs aren't desperate to hang around the kids that do all those things at the local playground even though they don't know any of their names (??) and keep getting beat up by them in mysterious fits of mistaken identity (??!). There are kids who are really "good" for lack of a better term, but they hang out together and do non-drinking/drugging things. They don't get into repeated fights with the "bad" kids and insist on going back for more. OP is just way too gullible.
