Unfortunately, people in their 70s and 80s who vote in mass get very upset about cursive being removed from curriculum. Some states have even passed laws mandating cursive. I've had some heated conversation with my parents and their friends in their 70s about kids learning cursive. They get so worked up about it.[/quote]
