Watch All American! It has so many similarities that it's basically a rip-off, but also very enjoyable! The setting is Beverly Hills and South Crenshaw instead of Texas. :) 
[/quote] I loved All American and I can’t wait for the spin-off show to start. Also, there’s a new reality show on Netflix called Hilltown High. It’s about the football team at the high school in Valdosta, Ga and their journey to try to make it to the 2020 state championship game (I guess this school did not shut dow for COVID).  It’s an easy watch and I binged it it one day.  It’s kinda corny with the teenager drama stuff , but I’ll admit that I got really caught up in the football part, routing for them and feeling bummed for them at times.  You do see how the coach really does have a major influence on these players and there’s even a little twist/drama at the end involving the head coach. [/quote]
