Many readers here might misinterpret OP’s post to think that ALL FCPS kindergartners have to carry their laptops back and forth. At our school, we decided that only Grades 3-6 would need to do that. K-2 students would keep them at school. OP—it would not be a bad thing to respectfully ask the teacher and/or administrators what the thinking was behind the decision to have K students carry them back and forth. If they say that they were told to do that, they are incorrect. It is a school decision. [/quote]
