MCPS has significantly more bus transportation of students and just generally more transportation logistics to worry about, as well as some parts of the county that are significantly more rural than D.C., so I'm not surprised they closed early while D.C. didn't.[/quote] Aside from the hurricane, have there been other storms that have closed MCPS early?
