Many other local clubs who hold tournaments have their own clubs top teams playing. Arlington has like 7 teams and the top teams
still play in theirs

It’s just not a good look to market a tournament to other clubs one way (elite competition at all levels) and then not show up at all levels as the hosting club….its not like the marketing told other clubs that it was a tier 2 tournament…the presumption would be that if the club is holding a tournament marketed as top notch that their top notch teams play…[/quote]

Last year this tournament was cancelled. Two years ago was the first year and Loudoun did not send their top teams. So people that actually know about youth soccer knew this would not be a top tier tournament. What gave you the impression that this year would be different?  Hopefully you don’t come back next year with the same shock, but who knows. [/quote]
