Op here - I finally got my period!!! 54 days after the start of the last one. I’m relieved but also gearing up for more months like this.
I'm sure you're relieved, OP! Just wanted to mention that I had my second (and last!) kid at 41. I nightweaned and suddenly had, for the first time in my life, insomnia and nightsweats, and my period became wonky. My health care providers surmised that the round the clock breastfeeding had probably been elevating my hormones and when I partially weaned they started to plummet and my perimenopause started. I started taking nighttime Estroven, Evening Primrose Oil and ZMA before bed and Bites during the day to help my hormones and sleep. But my periods have still been all over the place ever since (I'm 49 now) - long 45 day cycles, sometimes short 17 day cycles. This may be your new norm. That said, if you do feel any lower about discomfort or pain, do get it checked out - since I've hit perimenopause, I've had an ovarian cyst (resolved on its own) and fibroids (not causing any issues, a big one the size of an orange resolved on its own).
