You do? I'm a lefty who voted for Biden/Harris and think she's good at her job, but I wouldn't say I admire her. She's from a wealthy Connecticut family, went to private schools her entire life, and then had a relatively typical climb as a well-connected political hack. I'm not sure "admire" is the right word. Her story is incredibly predictable with very little adversity. Again, she is good at her job and seems like a nice lady. But come on.

So what? There are plenty of well connected hacks who end up total unsuccessful a-holes. Just look at trumps and his sorry adult children. You don’t have to face adversity to have a strong work ethic or ambition. Yes, it was easier for her to get here, but she could still be an admirable person with admirable values, traits, or achievements. Just look at someone like RFK. [/quote]

Agree. She is doing a great job. Since the beginning, she changed the “tone” of her office in a good way: there is a renewed sense  of respect and decency that was missing. [/quote]
