Since ECNL started as a girls league, okay rookie.  "VA Union" is McLean but it's still McLean.  SYC sent its best boys players to MLS Next instead but not quite sure why.  So there won't be much player movement there.  That leaves the girls.  Less than a dozen made the ECNL team from SYC.  Doubt you'll see any mid-year movement.[/quote]

McLean's boys program has bad coaches in the younger age group so they lose a lot of talent to other clubs.  By the time they reach ECNL age, it is hard to keep up with the competition.  In contrast, their girls program is very strong and is probably the strongest ECNL program in our area. [/quote]
