I think it means that you don't care about stuff like driving dynamics. I know basically nothing about either of those cars so they don't signal anything to me (one is a Tesla so I'd guess expensive), but if someone said they weren't a car person I'd assume they meant "my cars are boring and functional" not "my cars are cheap." My cousin the mechanic buys cheap cars, but he cares a lot about driving dynamics and is very much a car person.[/quote]
