Many RM parents move into the cluster because of the RM IB magnet program. These parents are upper middle class. We are such a family, and I know several families like us. Many of our kids are in RMIB. DCUM has a schizo personality. On another thread about New Market vs Rockville (RM cluster), someone pointed out that RM cluster is considered UMC. Yet, here we have a different poster claiming that RM is in the ghetto. I think this poster just doesn't like how many black/brown/poor kids there are in RM cluster. Such a person should probably stay out of Rockville which is one of the most diverse cities in the country. [/quote]
