^ Adding that none of this is the children's fault, since they cannot go out and get vaccinated without parental approval. So the equity reason is to shield unvaccinated kids from the social repercussions of being singled out as belonging to those families.
Yeah, but they deserve the social repercussions. Maybe THEY can convince their idiot parents to get the shots.
Let’s mock and punish children for not making their parents bend to their will. Does your 12 year old make their own decisions about things that you control? Like if they said no to the vaccine you would have allowed that? How is a 12 year old supposed to convince their parents of something they don’t believe?
. Unvaccinated children should be taught remotely. Period.
So elementary schools should remain closed for the upcoming school year?
Let’s quit engaging that PP, she is clearly a very angry and cruel person if she thinks 12 year olds should suffer the consequences of their parents’s decisions.
That was a different person. Unvaccinated students should not affect vaccinated students from getting IPL. Their parents made their choice, if they get covid it ruins it for everyone!
The solution, besides convincing more people to vaccinate their kids, is to loosen the overly strict quarantine rules, now that all vulnerable people who want to be protected can be.
What would that look like, under the idea that you have to have the same rule regardless of vaccination status? A class gets exposed and no one quarantines? Only quarantine for 5 days? It only makes sense if you divide by vax status. And the unvaxxed teacher is still a bigger impact.
