If the info I posted is ridiculous to you you should educate yourself then. GroVia started separating the layers of their diaper inserts for this exact same reason. Oh and they dry faster too. Also, when you teach your kids to wash hands what do you say about the importance of rubbing the hands together?

another VS who left it for the poor quality. my vote is for Costco. they've lasted since forever, and I change underwear 2 to 3 times a day.
Why do you change underwear so often?
Because I don't like panty liners. Anyway, on the unsenw crotch: when it's open the fabric rubs more vigorously in the wash and it dries faster so it kills more germs than the tightly stitched ones.
that is the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard! its open in the front b/c VS is cheap, cheap, cheap and went from sourcing their stitching in turkey to china (or somewhere super cheap). in my opinion, it is much LESS hygenic b/c the front portion can pull back, so if your period starts before your expected, instead of the first drops of blood hitting the solid double cotton part, liquid can leak through the thinner single cotton layer and get onto your clothes. that is gross to me.
