They have the burden of persuading a county judge they should not be removed.  Basically, the board member would say "I showed up at Board meetings, so I wasn't neglecting my duties, and all the decisions I made were within my authority to make, so I didn't do anything wrong." That would be enough for some judges.  Others might dig deeper and focus on whether the decisions made were consistent with the overarching responsibility of Board members to act in the best interests of students. +1, They were all of so following the recommendations of VDH by using the dashboard which cost some delays in the school startups.[/quote]
