I didn't think it was that bad. I agree that it's sort of lost it's focus as the kids' age -- they don't seem to know what to do with it as a parent. (The other parenting show "I'm Sorry" did a better job with the funny quirks of preschool years.) Frankie remains my favorite character with many of the best lines, and I actually love the young lesbian who lives with her -- she is so funny and I hope that actress gets other things. Frankie's current and ex wife are both not very funny, unfortunately. I thought Anne and her husband had some decently funny bits this season, and Anne's self-destructiveness seemed consistent with her prior seasons. But I still find her likeable. Jenny is just a pointless character--I feel like they keep her in for diversity but don't know what to do with her. The main character has been kind of a bi-- throughout. She often treats her husband like crap, so that's not new. I wonder -- do the writers actually have kids? It seems like they are very focused on the workplace stuff, but not the actual quirks and challenges of having preschoolers. The only thing really related to that was the art show bit, which was funny (having the boy who just makes a weak-hearted scribble on the page was something I could relate to, and I liked the story about the kid who you think is a genius, but it turns out she's just copying something she saw in the newspaper). PS I don't know how you could even accidentally send a nude pic to your school text chain rather than your husband. It would seem more realistic if she was trying to send a picture of something else to the school chain, but her thumb accidentally hit the wrong picture and then she hit send before realizing it was the wrong attachment. If you were just sending one pic to one person, you would open the pic, then hit send and add the address. I could see maybe sending it to one person who has the same initials as your husband because of auto-fill, but I can't see auto-fill filling in a whole text chain.
