There be a pp here with nothing to do all day but make her 5-6 meals per day! Ain't nobody else got time for that between work and kids! Must be some rich person that does nothing all day long but that!
hahaha, this is OP and I totally thought the same when I started this. I actually said, "ohhh, this is why the rich women are usually skinny". I work a full time job and have a kid in elementary school who plays 1-2 sports, am a cub scout leader and active in our church. The stress of all that is actually part of the reason I so enjoyed my nightly cuddle up with a bag of doritos and Bravo TV. Like PP said, some of the meals don't have to be complicated or even time-consuming...it just takes planning. I am not a planner, so this has been the roughest part. But I keep a supply of protein bars/drinks, sliced apples, portioned out almonds, fresh green beans, multiple types of bagged greens, as well as I always have a frozen supply of ground turkey and chicken breasts. I've been trying to keep containers of prepared rice, quinoa and cubed sweet potatoes in the fridge, so I just have to scoop out portions when needed. Chipoltle has become our go-to fast food if we have to eat out and if we have to go elsewhere, I do the best I can. :) Good luck, I know it's tough. I went to bed early the other night because I just could not cook another meal and didn't want to be tempted by the pizza we ordered in.
You sound like a great person! Good luck to you too!
