I've had the exact same thought.  As an entire society, we just need a minute!  Wouldn't it be nice if President Biden announced like a week of recovery from Covid, and we could all just take some time to rest?  Like the week in between Christmas and New Years when only the most essential things get done.

Sure, but we all have to take it collectively, otherwise the work keeps going and you come back from vacation a little behind. I think workers deserve an extra week of vacation this year for COVID recovery.

You mean the workers who have not faced hardship from Covid, were not on the frontline, were not healthcare or morgue workers or deemed as 'Essential' because they bagged groceries? Hell no.

And the work will be piling up the week you come back regardless - demand doesn't stop just because you clocked out. Get over yourself.[/quote]
