What is with Arlington parents? Are they this inferior in their daily lives that what their kids do matters so much? I find it's usually the 2nd string, bench sitter parents that LOVE to go on and on about how wonderful the teams are in Arlington. They take great pride in the car magnet on the back of the car. Grow up, dude, and get a life. You only have a few more years before your kid leaves for college and you have no soccer games to attend and you see how irrelevant all of your posturing was...and the drives to the Carolinas and NJ and Philly to watch your kid get 5 minutes.
None of those things apply to me. I'm pleased with the club, think they do a good job and that the coaches deserve recognition. When people knock the club - it's not the current parents and players that get hurt - it makes no difference to us. It's the coaches and the kids who might have gone there but don't because they read some rubbish suggesting that Arlington don't develop kids. What you should be questioning is not the people who defend the club, but who are the folks who make up lies to discredit the achievemtnts of the very good coaching staff who do an excellent job developing players and have all the older teams playing an attractive style of soccer?
So you start a thread that boasts "EXCEPT for Arlington...who else can'. Pathetic.
