I submitted my application and emailed the hiring manager directly explaining my background in previous jobs doing this exact thing, and what I could bring to the table.  The hiring manager didn't even bother to respond to my email.  I get if they think I'm not a fit, but it was very disrespectful.  If you look at my resume I'm a very strong match for the position.

So yeah.  whew writing it all out is cathartic and also prompting me to look harder for a new job lol.  [/quote]
