[/quote] Given this background, I'd change parishes. Confession is something you're going to keep needing to do and it should be spiritually useful not like that. I have no idea what the local hierarchy would do if you considered so that might also be a good route to take, but in your shoes I'd look for another parish and leave instead.[/quote]
