Takini will always look more frumpy that a one piece.  It breaks up your top half and lower half, there is usually some tummy hanging out in between, the fabric moves and bunches around your middle..just no.  I have yet to see one on anyone in person looks good.  It is as if they are compromise of middle aged moms that want to cling to a bikini but are too self conscious about their body.  A stylish and flattering one piece is always the better option[/quote]

I'm skinny with a pouchy stomach, and I promise you that my stomach looks better in a tankini than in a one piece that highlights it.
