Thank you PP.  This is very helpful.  She is local to the DC area, and is currently with Kaiser.  We're all actually quite pleasantly surprised at the level of care she's receiving with Kaiser. We all had this assumption, or maybe misconception that Kaiser's level of care wasn't great.

She is getting a second opinion already scheduled with a non-Kaiser breast cancer specialist there is Bethesda, and my brother actually sent her records to MD Anderson for that additional 2nd opinion.   I appreciate you following this thread, and will keep updating as I learn more.  I do believe that her treatments start this week. [/quote]
