I stand corrected.  They did not change the test. But they changed what you need to pass.  Pre pandemic you needed 400 to pass. This year you need 350 to pass. [/quote]

The 350 is NOT the pass rate for this year. It is still 400. They're using the 350 score for high school (and MS math) students ONLY to allow them to get verified credit for their course.[/quote]

Can you explain this? We only had 7th grader take Algebra SOL so she can get verified credit. So she needs 350? Not 400 to get verified credit but she may not pass?[/quote]

Your 7th grader will still have to pass Algebra 2 in 9th grade so it doesn’t really matter. All high schoolers have to pass a high school math SOL in high school - except for the class of 2023 because they all got verified credit for their math class last year with the pandemic. [/quote]
