They are NOT adding 100 seats to the other classes.[/quote] Why not?[/quote] For a couple of reasons: 1) It's a huge shock to a school's ecosystem to have it go from 1800 to 2200 kids overnight. By gradually increasing the numbers over the next several years, they'll be better able to handle the logistical challenges that come up. 2) It's REALLY HARD to fold into the TJ environment if you're not coming in at the start, and the "froshmores" who are selected from the sophomore applicant pool really are the cream of the crop.[/quote]
