I'm sure you could mine the internet and come up with a similar list for other schools.  The biggest issue for Yorktown is that it's considered academically weak compared to other schools in NoVa that primarily draw from upper middle class neighborhoods.  That's on APS, not a few teens in the woods. [/quote]

huh.  All I found was articles about the new building, ratings and positive parent reviews/comments, and a bunch of recent articles about the racial slur issues with Marshall HS.  Guess I'll have to search the dark corners of the internet.[/quote]
