No, I’m fine with breeds. I would get a lab, but I don’t want one with an insane fetch drive I need to satisfy every single day or who needs to carry something all the time. [/quote]

Poodles love to pass out mid fetch. Before you get an ‘oddle’ of any type be sure to check out the fetch drive of poodles if you really want to avoid a dog that wants to fetch constantly. [/quote]

Agree with this. I have owned standard poodle and now a miniature poodle. Both loves to play fetch. Their prey drive is quite high so I have invented the find it game. Where I have them smell a toy and then I hide it and then tell them to find it.  my standard was very high energy, my miniature has medium energy[/quote]
