OP here - exactly.

And we've looked at several clubs already, esp. on the ECNL side. She has one written offer that I just asked for a few extra days on and some verbals. We want to make sure we're making the right choice.

To the MU parents - truly, thank you for the insight. It helps. It's hard to get a good read on the clubs given the vitriol you find on some of these forums.

Because its a troll thread no one wants to be part of Metro and staff is trying to make it popular but it isn't working. Focus on your current teams now and maybe you can actually achieve a winning season for once[/quote]

Yet you're mid table against low level clubs who could easily be beaten by NCSL or CCL teams. Only respectable teams are FCV and Arlington for GA if winning gives you glory then go beat Rec level teams and at least you'll have a higher margin win. BTW I looked up Jeff Cup and couldn't fine Metro 2008 until I scrolled down to the 6th bracket. Good job![/quote]

And yet you are likely going to finish in second place against the same low level clubs. What do you have to gain by attacking clubs and teams in your own league? Sure, your league and division is trash but that is where you play and it is possible that you will not even finish the best of the trash that you play against yourself.

When you did get out of your trash GA division in Jeff Cup you failed to impress.

Is this your best way of recruiting kids to your team by saying the competition you play isn't worth it? Well, you're right, it probably isn't worth it and as bad as the competition is you'll still not finish 1st. [/quote]
