Botox doesn't help anyone. Just stop.
It makes me look less angry for sure. I have these deep, deep lines that are then surrounded by smooth, glowy skin. Its downright bizarre looking sometimes actually- like the skin age and the muscle age don't line up. A light touch helps immensely to not look like I'm scowling when I am not making any expression at all
If your lines are that deep you should be getting filler there & a little Botox. I know this from going with an ex to his appt. And for the record, he's a black straight attorney who just does this in his "11s"- and no, you could never tell. It's funny to see all the Botox bashers who firmly believe only overdone, plastic looking white women get fillers or Botox. You HAVE NO IDEA about who's getting what done because if it's done well it's not obvious!
Some injectors will do filler in the forehead, but it is actually really dangerous and not typical or very safe. So, I disagree. I also agree lots of people in DC probably get a little help here and there. I don't think anyone I know would suspect I have any Botox (although I am open about it). My friend who started getting tox and fillers last year is the last person you'd expect would get it. There are definitely frozen foreheads and arched brows, but there are also lower doses of more subtle effects, and that's what I want. No shade to anyone at all who wants to look like Nicole Kidman in a fancy coat with a glass upper face...I just don't.
I don't know why people on this forum talk about "frozen faces." It's not a look that is done in DC. I've only ever seen one person in the DC area ever that had a frozen look. Now, in California, Florida, etc- different story.
