That requires other kids to tryout, right? Maybe they should scout the bridge teams.
Totally agree because putting the same team out there year after year is bordering on insanity. I feel bad because there are 2-3 boys who have real potential to possibly play in college. Most of the others are just here because of loyalty and the club not being honest with them. I think thats whats hurting us in ECNL play.
Let me guess, your DS is one of the 2-3 boys. If not, you're okay with your DS being replaced?
This and how do the other players affect those 2-3 boys with potential of playing in college? Are you worried about the club getting kicked out of ECNL and therefore less exposure? If so, then those 2-3 probably won't have a problem getting onto another ECNL roster somewhere if that talented. Just not following you and why bashing the other players, who probably are your DS's friends.
What makes you think that your talented 2-3 boys will get better exposure in the other ECNL team? Be careful with what you wish, the other team may be full of egocentric coaches/parents.
What if BRYC is dropped to ECNL-R ? Then what? I think if they were concerned they would do whatever I takes to correct the path they are heading down.
I think we should. My DS is on the u14 team. We are not competitive in ECNL. I wanted to take the patience approach until our boys struggled to beat PWSI pride 1-0 in the Stafford St. Patty’s tournament. We won yes. But the game was very evenly matched. For an ECNL team to barely beat an NCSL team....well, it speaks for itself. Needless to say my kid already got an offer with VDA and we are leaving.
But the team has drawn Arlington U14B twice, and Arlington is atop the standings undefeated. Isn't that competitive, when you can get results against the top team(s)?
The record is 1win 11 loses 3 draws I wouldn't be surprised to see minimum 14 new players and a new coach. thats awful for an ECNL club Nodody can defend that record.
YIKES !
