Maybe it's because his/her version of hell is nicer than the one in the bible or as taught by many Christian sects. The rest of your post sounds like Pascal's wager -- if you're wrong, you suffer in hell, so while alive, just say you believe Christian teachings about hell even if you really don't (as if God can't spot a phony!)[/quote]
